Power On
The full display will be shown two (2) seconds after installing the batteries and all fields will activate briefly.
Whenever a user starts to exercise, the display will light up and show the workout values automatically. After 4.5 minutes of inactivity, the display will shut off. When a user begins to exercise again after the display has gone to "sleep," the workout values will continue from where they left off.
If the machine's console display is faint or shows no figures, please replace the batteries.
Console Button
MODE (WHITE): Press to select machine functions during workout session. Hold down for two (2) seconds to reset all data. Note: The monitor will automatically power on when the user starts to exercise. The monitor will automatically start calculating functions when you start to exercise and will stop calculating when you stop exercising for four (4) seconds.
Functions and Operations
AUTO SCAN: After the console is powered on or when the MODE button is pressed, the display will cycle through all functions values. Each value will be held for six (6) seconds. Users can also press the MODE button to cycle through the other values until the arrow icon (◄) points to display the desired value value. This will end “Auto Scan” mode and only the selected value will display continuously.
DISTANCE: Displays the distance traveled up to 9999 meters.
TIME: Shows your elapsed workout time up to 99:59.
COUNT: Displays the workout step up to 9999.
CALORIE: Displays the calories burned up to 9999.
STROKES PER MINUTE (SPM): Displays current strokes per minute up to 120.
RESET: Press and hold the MODE button for two (2) seconds to reset all data back to zero (0).
Adjusting Resistance Settings
To increase or decrease resistance while operating your ERG220 rower, turn the tension knob located on the front post to adjust the resistance. Level 1 is the minimum resistance. Level 8 is the highest resistance.
