FS3.5 Assembly Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Front Stabilizer and Connecting Arms
a. Put the front stabilizer (14) on the mainframe mounting plate with transportation wheels pointing forward and use the 13/14 mm open end wrench to secure with two carriage bolts (#77) two curved washers (#112), and cap nuts (#96).
b. Put the rear rail assembly (2) at the rear of the mainframe (be aware of the orientation) and secure with four button head socket bolts (#143), four split washers (#145) and four flat washers (#144) by using the Allen wrench (#146).
c. Adjust height of the foot pads at the rear to make sure that the machine is level and stable. Use the Combination M5 Allen Wrench & Phillips Head Screw Driver (#118) to secure the middle stabilizer cover (#147) with a Phillips head screw (#82).
d. Attach the left connecting arm (7) together with pedal arm (#5) to the main frame (1) of the left side crank axle and secure with socket head cap bolt (#75) and flat washer (#104) by using the 12m/m wrench.
e. Attach the right connecting arm (8) together with pedal arm (5) to the main frame (1) of the right side crank axle and secure with socket head cap bolt (#75) and flat washer (#104) by using the Allen wrench (#146).
2. Console Mast Assembly
a. Use cable tie to guide the 1150mm computer cable (36) through console mast (11) and then pull out of the console holding plate, and insert the console mast into main frame and secure with six button head socket bolts (#80), six split washers (#111), four flat washers (#105) and two curved washers (#113) by using Combination M5 Allen Wrench & Phillips Head Screw Driver (#118).
b. Take off the cable tie which ties the computer cable (36) and plug in the connectors of the computer cable and the two hand pulse cables (40) on the console. Secure the console on the console assembly (35) four Phillips head screws (#84) by using the Combination M5 Allen Wrench & Phillips Head Screw Driver (#118). Be careful when attaching and avoiding scratching the cables.
3. Handlebar Assembly
a. Install the lower handlebar (L, 9) in the left shaft of console mast (11) and the lower handlebar (R, 10) in the right shaft of console mast (11), and secure them with two hex head bolts (#74) and two flat washers (#102) by using 12mm wrench (#116).
b. Release the rod end shafts (18) which are on left and right connecting arms. Connect the connecting arm with lower handle bar and secure with rod end shafts (18) and the screw by using Combination M5 Allen Wrench & Phillips Head Screw Driver (#118) and 12mm wrench (#116).
4. Connecting Arm Assembly
a. Connect the swing arm (L, 15) to the left lower handlebar and connect the swing arm (R, 16) to the right lower handlebar, and secure them with six hex head bolts (#76), four curved washers (#113) and six Nyloc nuts (#91) by using 12mm wrench (#116) 13.14mm wrench (#115).
b. Put the front handlebar cover (L, 69) and the rear handlebar cover (L, 69-1) together on the left handlebar and secure with three sheet metal screws (#87) by using the Combination M5 Allen Wrench & Phillips Head Screw Driver (#118). Repeat the same procedure for the right side.
c. Connect the console mast cover (L, 42) and the console mast cover (R, 43) together on the console mast and secure with two sheet metal screws (#87) by using the Combination M5 Allen Wrench & Phillips Head Screw Driver (#118).
