Console Buttons
SET: Press to set up the value of time, distance, calories, and pulse. Hold the button to increase the value quickly (Note: To adjust settings, the computer has to be in standby mode).
MODE/RESET: Press to select machine functions during workout session. Hold down for two (2) seconds to reset all data. Note: The monitor will automatically power on when the user starts to exercise. The monitor will automatically start calculating functions when you start to exercise and will stop calculating when you stop exercising for four (4) seconds.
Functions and Operations
RPM: Displays the pedaling rotation per minute.
TIME: Shows your elapsed workout time up to 99:59. Press the “SET” console button to set the target workout time between 0:00 to 99:59. If you have selected a preset target time for your workout, the display will count down from your preset target time to 0:00 during your workout.
SPEED: Displays user's current speed. The maximum value is 999.9mph.
DISTANCE: Counts the distance from the exercise session start to end. Press the “SET” console button to set target distance between 0:00 to 99.99. If you have selected a preset target distance for your workout, the display will count down from your preset target time to 0.00 during your workout.
CALORIE: Counts the total calories burned by the user from the exercise session start to end. Press the “SET” button to set target calories. The maximum value is 999.9kcal.
ODOMETER: The monitor will display the total accumulated distance. The maximum value is 999.9 miles.
PULSE: Displays the user’s pulse. Press the "SET" button to set target heart rate. When pulse value reaches the target heart rate, the console will beep. Note: utilizing the pulse feature requires a chest strap heart rate monitor (not included with your purchase). For assistance, see our articles:
Adjusting Resistance Settings
To increase or decrease resistance while operating your MBX2500 bike, lift the tension lever located on the front post up or down to adjust the resistance. Level 1 is the minimum resistance. Level 8 is the highest resistance. Resistance can be changed at any time.
To apply the brake, press down on the tension lever to the maximum resistance setting.
Before dismounting, increase the resistance to slow the flywheel and allow it to come to a complete stop.
