E2 Error: Incline position error.
Applies to the Following Treadmill Models: TR6.6, TR6.4
Resolution:
- Complete the steps to recalibrate your treadmill. Need assistance? See our article: How to Calibrate Your Treadmill.
- Ensure that the incline cables are securely connected. If any of the cables/connectors appear loose, completely power off and unplug the treadmill before unplugging and reattaching the cables. Once all cables have been completely reattached, plug in and turn on the treadmill.
- If the error code is still showing after confirming that the incline cables are securely connected, check to see if the incline mechanism is stuck or damaged. If the incline mechanism appears stuck, completely power off and unplug the treadmill before attempting to dislodge the incline mechanism.
- If the E2 error code is still showing after restarting the treadmill or if you notice visible damage to the incline mechanism, please submit a ticket here or contact the XTERRA Service Department by phone at 800-258-8511 for assistance.
If after troubleshooting you are still unable to resolve your machine's error, please contact the XTERRA Service Department and be prepared to provide the following information:
- Your name
- Dealer location
- Date of purchase
- Machine serial number
